Up first on this week's featured lots is this excellent 2001 painting from South London-based figurative painter Emily Patrick. This piece followed portraits of iconic figures such as Diana Princess of Wales and shoe designer Emma Hope. It smashed it's £300-£500 estimate with a fantastic final hammer price of £4,600.

Up next on our featured lots is this signed and dated, 1861 painting, The Artist's Studio, by Belgian lithographer and watercolourist Louis Haghe. This painting hit a final hammer price of £3,200 and was sold by order of a member of the de Rothschild Family, a wealthy Ashkenazi Jewish family known as one of the most famous European banking dynasties.

This oil on board, signed and dated '54 painting of Aunt Charlotte by Frances Mabel Hollams highlights her technique of painting on wood panel with no background, so that the grain of the wood is visible. The British painter was prolific for painting horses, and was elected to the Society of Women Artists in 1899.

Fourth up on our featured lots this week is this excellent linocut on wove paper of Sir Terry Frost R.A.'s Trewellard Suns I, which is signed in pencil, dated '90, and inscribed 10/40. Frost is widely recognised as one of the leading British abstract artists of his generation, having produced over 1000 paintings and held over 120 solo exhibitions.

Last up on our featured lots is this oil on canvas Still Life painting by Margaret Seaton McDonald, first exhibited in London at the Mall Galleries as part of The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, 1978. Seaton McDonald was known for exhibiting regularly with the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. This lot completely eclipsed it's £80-£120 estimate with a final hammer price of £650.
